Just six months after re-signing with the Brisbane Broncos, Lauren Dam has secured her future with the club by extending her contract through the end of the 2026 NRLW season.
The 28-year-old Dubbo junior has earned a reputation as an “utmost professional” since joining the Broncos in 2023, steadily developing into a key player for the team.

Dam has featured in 17 games for Brisbane, including seven appearances last season where she made notable contributions—scoring two tries, breaking 11 tackles, and creating three line breaks. Her ongoing growth and commitment have been recognized by the club, which has shown strong faith in her ability to continue evolving on the field.
“I’m excited to keep building with the Broncos,” Dam said. “It shows the club believes in me, and I can really focus on my role without worrying about next season. I’ve gained a lot of confidence, and it’s easier to just play knowing they back me.”
Despite finishing as Minor Premiers in the 2024 NRLW season, the Broncos narrowly missed out on the Grand Final. However, Dam is optimistic about the team’s chances this year.
“The growth we’re working towards is really exciting. Our end goal is definitely to win the Premiership this season — no more falling short,” she stated. “There’s no other group I’d rather be around, and I think we can really do it.”
The Broncos will put their preparations to the test with a trial match against the PNG Blossoming Orchids on Saturday, June 22, at Suncorp Stadium, kicking off at 11:45 AM. Tickets are available for fans eager to witness the team in action ahead of the official NRLW season opener.
Round 1 sees the Broncos face the Wests Tigers at Totally Workwear Stadium on Saturday, July 5. Meanwhile, Broncos NRLW memberships are now on sale for supporters wanting to get behind their team for the upcoming campaign.
Lauren Dam’s contract extension signals the Broncos’ confidence in their roster and ambition to claim the premiership crown in 2026. With key players locked in and a strong team culture, the Broncos look set for another competitive season.
