Brisbane, Friday 6 June 2025 – Brisbane Broncos captain Adam Reynolds is on the cusp of joining rugby league’s most exclusive ranks as he prepares for his 300th NRL appearance this Saturday night against the Gold Coast Titans at Suncorp Stadium.
National Rugby League (NRL) CEO Andrew Abdo has led tributes in honour of Reynolds’ remarkable career, which has left an enduring legacy in the sport. Following the Round 14 clash, Mr Abdo will formally present Reynolds with a commemorative 300-game match ball.

“Adam is known for his leadership, football intelligence, and exceptional kicking game,” said Abdo. “He has made a massive contribution to both the South Sydney Rabbitohs and the Brisbane Broncos.”
Reynolds burst onto the scene in 2012, earning the Dally M Rookie of the Year award. His influence has only grown since, culminating in being named Dally M Captain of the Year in 2023—testament to his sustained excellence and leadership.
Renowned for his scoring ability, Reynolds remains the all-time leading point-scorer for the Rabbitohs with 1,896 points. He also ranks second on the NRL’s all-time premiership point-scoring list and is just the second player in history to surpass 1,000 career goals.
“Playing 300 matches is an incredible milestone,” Abdo added. “On behalf of the entire rugby league community, I congratulate Adam on his inspiring career and wish him continued success.”
Reynolds will become only the 55th player in NRL history to reach the 300-game mark.
A large crowd is expected at Suncorp Stadium as fans gather to honour one of the modern greats of the game.
