The Parramatta Eels are celebrating a major milestone in their women’s development program, with five players from their Elite Pathways system selected to represent New South Wales in the upcoming Under 19s Women’s State of Origin clash.

Ryvrr-Lee Alo, Khyliah Gray, Ava Jones, Tess McWilliams, and Fontayne Tufuga have all earned selection in the 20-player squad named by NSWRL to face Queensland on Thursday, 19 June, at Sunshine Coast Stadium.

The quintet’s inclusion is a testament to their outstanding form throughout the 2025 season, particularly in the Tarsha Gale Cup, where they played key roles in the Eels’ impressive 28-16 Grand Final victory over the Indigenous Academy Roosters.

This Origin call-up highlights the strength of the Eels’ junior pathways and further cements the club’s reputation as a leading force in developing elite female rugby league talent.

With Origin pride on the line, the young Eels stars now prepare to wear the sky-blue jersey and showcase their skills on one of the biggest stages in junior representative rugby league.
