Joey Bosa’s time with the Los Angeles Chargers may be nearing its end. Since being selected as the No. 3 overall pick in the 2016 NFL Draft, Bosa has been a cornerstone of the Chargers’ defense.

However, injuries have plagued him in recent years, causing him to miss three or more games in each of the last three seasons. ESPN’s Dan Graziano recently reported that Bosa could be a potential cut candidate this offseason.

While Bosa could reunite with his brother, Nick Bosa, on the San Francisco 49ers or join another playoff contender, there’s speculation he might make a bold, revenge-driven move. Bosa, who has been a longtime rival of the Las Vegas Raiders, could surprisingly sign with the Silver and Black to team up with star defensive end Maxx Crosby.

Tyler Brooke of The 33rd Team believes this move could make sense for both sides.

“If Bosa isn’t happy with how things are ending in Los Angeles, he’d have an opportunity to get revenge on his old team twice a year by signing with the Las Vegas Raiders,” Brooke wrote.

This potential signing could also address the Raiders’ defensive needs, especially amid trade rumors surrounding Crosby.

“There’s significant speculation regarding a potential Crosby trade,” Brooke added. “While nothing has been stated publicly, that kind of move would make a veteran pass rusher a top-tier need for the Raiders, even if they’re attempting to rebuild around their next quarterback.”

Bosa, a proven EDGE rusher still in his prime when healthy, could provide immediate impact for the Raiders. The team also has ample salary cap space to make such a move, regardless of Crosby’s future with the franchise.

The possibility of Bosa joining the Raiders adds an intriguing layer to the AFC West rivalry, as it would pit him against his former team twice a season. This storyline will undoubtedly be one to watch as the NFL offseason unfolds.
