The Alabama Crimson Tide bolstered their 2026 recruiting class on Thursday night with the commitment of highly-touted offensive lineman Chris Booker.

The 6-foot-4, 284-pound interior lineman from Hapeville Charter School in Atlanta announced his decision on social media, declaring, “1000% committed, Recruitment shut down!”

Booker, who also held offers from SEC rivals Kentucky and Mississippi State, is Alabama’s second commit for the 2026 class and the first offensive lineman. He joins cornerback Zyan Gibson in the Tide’s early recruiting efforts.

In an interview with Bama247, Booker expressed his excitement, calling the commitment “surreal” and a dream come true. His strong connection with Alabama’s offensive line coach, Chris Kapilovic, played a significant role in his decision.

Booker’s addition strengthens Alabama’s future offensive line as the program continues to build its 2026 recruiting class.
